West Haven, CT
The new West Haven Police station is a 55,000 square foot state of the art facility designed to allow the police to employ the latest technologies in crime fighting and crime scene investigation. It includes modern cell blocks, a 50 yard shooting range, a gym, and a bigger sally port. Plumbing throughout the cell blocks is configured to allow officers the ability to shut off water, and flush toilets from their station outside the lockup. Construction of the new facility involved installation of all ductwork, plumbing and HVAC systems including the specialty cell fixtures and an extensive exhaust system for the firing range.
