A LEED® Certified Project
LSOG 2/3 – Laboratory for Surgery, Obstetrics, and Gynecology
New Haven, CT
Renovation of the Yale School of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology's 20,500 square foot research space was designed to upgrade and modernize the laboratory space. Services provided by F+F consisted of demolition of laboratory waste systems and specialty exhaust ductwork on the second and third floors of the four story building. The project required isolation of the plumbing and HVAC systems on the remaining floors to keep laboratories and other spaces located on adjacent floors operational throughout the demolition. Other services provided included enabling work for the follow up phases of construction. The renovation of the LSOG is seeking LEED certification.
