Mountain Residence Hall
Hamden, CT
The new residence hall is a 103,000 square foot apartment style dormitory. Each apartment suite consists of a living room, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Construction included installation of an ice melt system on the plaza level to ensure safe pedestrian passage during winter months. An aggressive schedule required accelerated installation of all plumbing, mechanical, and ductwork systems, and allowed for completion in time to welcome students for the fall semester.
